Fill the whole screen with solid colours to find dead or stuck pixels, backlight bleed, pressure marks and uneven brightness. Works on laptops, monitors, phones and tablets.

What you might see
- Black dot on white/colours - a dead pixel (stays dark).
- Bright red, green or blue dot on black - a stuck sub-pixel.
- Light glowing from the edges on black - backlight bleed (LCD screens; OLED screens have none).
- Lines, a pink tint or a flickering band - often the display cable or connector, not the panel; on laptops it often changes when you move the lid.
- Blotches on grey - pressure marks or uneven backlight.
