Privacy
NoPowerFix tests run on your own device. We do not run trackers, we do not sell data, and the test results stay with you. This page explains exactly what happens on the website and in the apps.

Who we are
NoPowerFix is run by Hardware Specialist Anjum Asif (Greece). Privacy questions: contact@nopowerfix.com. This page covers nopowerfix.com and the NoPowerFix apps for Android and Windows; the forum at forum.nopowerfix.com has its own privacy page.
The website
- Tests run in your browser. The webcam, microphone, speaker, keyboard, screen, touch, controller and Android tests work inside the page. The camera and microphone start only after you allow them, and nothing is uploaded or saved on a server. A microphone recording stays in the page for playback and is gone when you leave it.
- The iPhone panic log analyzer reads your file in your browser. The log is not uploaded. It contains your iPhone model and iOS version, not your photos, messages or passwords.
- No cookies, no analytics, no ads. The website blocks every connection to other servers from its pages. The only thing it stores is a tiny note in your browser's session storage so the menu animation plays once per section; it disappears when you close the tab.
- Hosting. The website is delivered by Cloudflare. Like any web server, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested, to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. See the Cloudflare privacy policy.
- Other sites we link to (Apple, Microsoft, tool makers, the forum) have their own privacy rules, which apply once you open them.
NoPowerFix Hardware Test (Android)
- Results stay on your phone. Test results and reports are kept on the phone; recordings are kept in memory only for playback and are deleted when you leave the test. There is no NoPowerFix account and no NoPowerFix server; the app does not upload your results.
- Permissions are requested only when a test needs them and are used only during that test: camera (camera and flash tests), microphone (microphone tests), location (GPS test, and finding Wi-Fi and Bluetooth devices on some Android versions), Bluetooth (Bluetooth test), phone state (signal test), NFC (NFC test), fingerprint / face unlock (biometric test) and vibration. The storage test writes a temporary file and deletes it at the end.
- Ads in the free version. The free version shows ads from Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google may collect your device's advertising ID, your IP address and information about how you use the app. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, you are asked for consent first, and you can change your choice later in the app under About & privacy. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services. The Pro version has no ads.
- Purchases are handled by Google Play. We never see your card or payment details; we only receive confirmation that Pro was bought.
- The Email us and Rate us buttons open your own mail app or the Play Store - only when you tap them.
NoPowerFix for Windows
- Every check runs on your PC. Test results are never uploaded and there is no tracking.
- The internet check sends a ping to 1.1.1.1 (a public Cloudflare address) to measure the connection. Apart from that and signing in, the app does not go online.
- Reports need a free NoPowerFix forum account. You sign in on forum.nopowerfix.com in your own browser; the app never sees your password. It keeps only a sign-in key, encrypted for your Windows user account, and reads your forum username and whether you chose personal or commercial use. Signing out cancels the key.
- Camera and microphone are used only while their tests are open; recordings stay in memory and are discarded.
- Reports are saved only on your PC, in Documents\NoPowerFix. The app does not read or change firmware.
App stores
Google Play and the Microsoft Store handle downloads, updates and crash reports under their own privacy policies (Google, Microsoft). They give us totals only - for example the number of downloads per country and crash counts - never who you are.
When you email us
If you write to contact@nopowerfix.com, we use your email address and message only to answer you. We keep the conversation only as long as needed for that, and we do not share it.
Legal basis (GDPR)
- Running the tests you start, signing in and answering your email: our legitimate interest in providing the service you asked for (Art. 6(1)(f)), and, for the forum account, the forum's terms (Art. 6(1)(b)).
- Personalised ads in the free Android app: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you, object to its use, or withdraw consent - write to contact@nopowerfix.com. Because the tests keep results on your own device, in most cases we hold nothing about you at all. You can also complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.
Children
NoPowerFix is made for device owners and repair technicians, not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect children's data.
Changes
If this page changes, the date at the top changes too. Bigger changes are also announced on the NoPowerFix forum.
